Welcome to Houndsditch, London
Houndsditch appears to have been named quite literally, dating back to 1275, it is recorded as being a trench where “dead dogges were there laid or cast” and canine skeleton dating back to Roman times have been found here.
When the ditch was filled in the 16th century, Houndsditch became the home of second-hand clothes, a niche that continued for over 300 years. By 1900, the street was a busy marketplace leading to the rise of Houndsditch Warehouse, a landmark department store.

Accommodation and Travel
If you are looking to stay in London for the conference, there are several options within a short distance of the conference centre.
For the cost conscious – Travelodge are a good option Liverpool Street is the closest and our preferred choice for something a little more expensive is the Canopy by Hilton London City.
The closest underground stations are Liverpool Street and Aldgate East, with the nearest overground connections available at Liverpool Street Station.
