Join us for this lunchtime session where we take a look at a popular PMO theme or challenge.
This is a paid event if you are currently a free member- please purchase a ticket.
Last year during the first lockdown, in a PMO Working From Home session we took a look at Supporting Complex Projects
During the session, we started to take a look at understanding what megaprojects are, and from that thinking about the role of the PMO.
In this session, we are joined by Michael Frahm, author, and practitioner who has been working in project management of large and mega projects for 15 years.
Michael will be explaining what megaprojects are all about, giving us beginners insights into the complexities of running projects over $1 billion in budget.
We will learn what project leaders of megaprojects focus on and what makes them successful – allowing us to understand what support the PMO provides and contributes to the success.
Michael will share his own thoughts on the role of the PMO, paving the way to a group discussion on the role of the PMO in megaprojects.
Each session is recorded and made available to online and full members.
The PMO sessions are free to online and full members, please RSVP. There is a cost for free members, please purchase a ticket.
