The two main events for the House of PMO take place this week in London after missing the events in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The PMOLearn! event taking place on Tuesday 2nd November is a new format bringing 100 PMO practitioners together in the classroom. Due to popular demand, four key areas, which frequently appear on the difficult or challenging list for practitioners, are focused on. Resource management, benefits management, dashboards & reporting and portfolio management are all covered throughout the day event.
Experts delivering on the day include Eileen Roden, Stuart Dixon, John McIntyre, Nicole Reilly, Claire Dellar and Holger Heuss.
The PMO Conference 2021 takes place on the following day, 3rd November and brings together PMO practitioners from a whole host of industries – to listen, share, get inspired and network with other PMO peers.
The sixth PMO Conference takes place under the banner of our, YOUR, new professional body for PMOs – The House of PMO.
We have asked each speaker to include some lessons from their own experience of the extraordinary period of time we have lived through, so can continue to reflect and learn as we move forward. The conference is also about how PMOs have adapted, what has changed, what has stayed the same – and what the focus is for 2022 and beyond.
The conference is designed to take your thinking to unexpected places; to spark new ideas; to challenge, to stimulate debate and contribute to the development and definition of the PMO profession – very much a work in progress; with all the opportunities and challenges that brings.
Sessions this year include the COVID-19 Vaccination Deployment Programme PMO; House of Parliament, Zurich Insurance, Virgin Atlantic and GlaxoSmithKline.
The conference also includes the popular exhibition which enables practitioners to meet the people behind the products and services that aim to help PMO people perform their roles better – or provide alternative tools to support their organisations.
This year’s platinum sponsor, Prosymmetry, focuses on resource management solutions – one of those challenging areas for PMOs. Prosymmetry also host the aftershow party this year – bring people together to reflect on the day whilst sipping the Tempus cocktail – created by us!
The conference programme is available to download which features the agenda, speakers and the exhibition.
The conference will return next year in June 2022
