5 November 2026 | House of PMO News
House of PMO is pleased to announce a new 12-month partnership with Power Framework, who join us as our Microsoft Industry Partner for 2026–2027.
The partnership brings together the House of PMO community and Power Framework‘s expertise in Microsoft-based project and portfolio management, with a shared focus on helping PMO professionals make better use of data, AI and digital technology.
Making Sense of Microsoft and the Modern PMO
There’s no shortage of technology available to PMOs today. Microsoft Planner, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, Copilot and a growing collection of AI capabilities all offer opportunities to change how we manage project information, support governance and make decisions.
Having access to the technology and knowing how to make good use of it are two quite different things.
We’re hearing plenty of questions from PMO professionals about where to start with AI, how to bring information together from disconnected systems, what Microsoft’s changing project and portfolio management landscape means for their organisations, and how to modernise without creating even more complexity.
These are some of the questions we’ll be exploring through our new partnership.
What the partnership means for the PMO community
Over the coming months, we’ll be working with Power Framework to bring practical Microsoft expertise into House of PMO activities, including expert conversations, webinars, events, articles, case studies and other useful resources.
Our discussions will focus on several areas, including:
- AI Starts with Data – understanding the information foundations needed for effective AI and automation.
- The Digital PMO – exploring how technology can improve the way PMOs operate.
- Connected Project and Portfolio Management – bringing tools, processes and information together.
- AI in the PMO – practical applications for Copilot, AI agents and automation.
- The Future of Microsoft PPM – making sense of developments in Microsoft’s project and portfolio management tools.
- Security and Governance – supporting collaboration while maintaining appropriate control of information.
The emphasis will be on learning from experience, asking useful questions and understanding what these developments mean for PMO professionals in practice.
Introducing Microsoft & the PMO
As part of the partnership, we’ve created a new Microsoft & the PMO area on the House of PMO website.
Rather than a conventional partner profile, it’s designed to become a growing collection of practical resources, ideas and expert contributions.
The page launches with existing presentations, webinars and case studies, including Power Framework’s work with Bristol Airport, insights into digital maturity and AI, and Gero Renker’s previous House of PMO conference contribution on AI agents.
We’ll continue adding new material as the partnership develops.
We’re delighted to be working with House of PMO to bring fresh perspectives, practical insights and Microsoft expertise to the PMO community. Together, we want to explore how PMOs can make better use of their data, technology and emerging AI capabilities to build greater maturity, strengthen decision-making and shape the future of the profession – Power Framework

Our first conversation: AI Starts with Data
We’re getting started straight away.
On Friday 6 November, 12:30–1:30pm GMT, Gero Renker, Director and Co-founder of Power Framework, joins House of PMO for an interactive conversation exploring what digital maturity really means for the PMO.
Before AI can transform the way a PMO works, we need to understand the information it’s working with. What happens when project data is scattered across spreadsheets, reports and disconnected systems? What does a realistic path towards better digital maturity look like?
It’s an opportunity to explore these questions together, share experiences and consider what PMOs can do next.

Looking ahead
Power Framework will also be joining us at the PMO Insight Conference in Edinburgh on 16–17 November 2026, with further involvement planned at Project Forum in April 2027 and the PMO Conference in London in June 2027.
Throughout the year, we’ll continue exploring the practical realities of technology in the PMO, drawing on specialist expertise alongside the experiences and questions coming from our community.
We look forward to seeing where those conversations take us.
