Present with Confidence – The PMO Summer Series is a three-part virtual learning experience from House of PMO, designed to help you build one of the most valuable PMO skills: confident, impactful communication.

Each session focuses on a key part of the presentation journey – from crafting compelling content, to designing clear and professional slides, to delivering with confidence and presence. Whether you’re presenting at work, running a knowledge session, or stepping up to speak at a PMO event, this series will help you feel more prepared, polished, and self-assured.

You can attend one, two, or all three sessions – each one is standalone, but together they build a complete foundation for confident PMO presenting.

Session 1: The Content

Learn how to structure, shape, and sharpen your presentation for maximum impact.

Every great presentation starts with a strong story. In this first session of the Present with Confidence summer series, we’re focusing on the content – how to build a presentation that lands with your audience, supports your message, and works in a PMO environment.

Whether you’re prepping for a project board, sharing insights in a community event, or pitching to stakeholders, this session will help you create content with structure, flow and purpose.

We’ll cover:

  • Clarifying your objective – informing, influencing, or inspiring?
  • Understanding your audience – and tailoring accordingly
  • Structuring your story – from intro to impact
  • Using narrative techniques – storytelling in a PMO context
  • Choosing what not to include – keeping it tight and relevant

You’ll leave with a simple framework to plan future presentations and a set of tips you can use immediately.
