With the PMO Conference coming up in Edinburgh this November and the increase in the number of PMO Flashmob events we’re running, it got us thinking about PMO people coming together and how much we learn from each other when we make connections.

Many of us might not like the idea of networking, even the mere mention of the word can bring some of us out in hives! But we want to do something about that, perhaps change the perception of it, at the very least bring together some different insights and hopefully provide a few hints and tips.

In this session, we will focus on three aspects of networking – focusing more on the first two you see here:

• Internal Networking – How to build influence and trust within your organisation, from delivery teams to senior leadership.
• Face-to-Face Networking – How to confidently connect at events, workshops, and in everyday workplace interactions.
• Online Networking – How to make LinkedIn and other digital platforms work for your PMO career without the awkwardness.
