Step onboard for a PMO event like no other – our first ever session hosted at sea.

Join us in person on a Red Funnel ferry as we sail from Southampton to the Isle of Wight, for an interactive masterclass session led by the Roke PMO team.

It’s a chance to step out of the usual setting and explore how PMOs operate when everything around them is moving (literally and organisationally).

In this session, they will discuss practical approaches and lessons learned on how a modern PMO can continuously adjust its services to meet business needs, maximise value, and support delivery in uncertain environments. Expect lots of interactivity and sharing as we make our way out to sea.

As we sail across the Solent, this is your chance to step away from the day-to-day, connect with others, and reflect on how your PMO can stay on course in changing conditions. Whether you’re navigating calm waters or choppier seas, you’ll leave with fresh ideas, practical takeaways, and a clearer sense of direction for the journey ahead.

What You Need to Know

This is an in-person event taking place onboard a Red Funnel ferry, departing from Southampton. Please read the following before registering to attend:

• You must arrive on time and be ready to board between 16:30 and 16:40 – the ferry will depart promptly and late arrivals may not be able to join
• By registering, you are committing to attend; if your plans change, please let us know as early as possible so your place can be offered to someone else
• Attendees are responsible for their own travel to and from the ferry terminal
• Parking is available nearby, with both paid and limited free options (full details will be shared in the joining instructions)
• The event takes place onboard a scheduled ferry service, so timings and arrangements are subject to operational conditions
• All attendees are expected to follow instructions from the event hosts and ferry operator to ensure a safe and smooth experience
