Projects fail, or succeed, because of the way people think, behave and act based on their feelings, beliefs and perceptions, informed by the actions of the PMO, impacting decisions made by leaders and team members.
It is therefore surprising that these critical psychological and behavioural factors have not until now been measured in a systemised manner. Nor has that data been used to enhance and augment existing project performance and controls data and decision making by PMO’s.
The new field of Human-Centric Data offers the project profession and in particular the leaders of PMOs an opportunity to benefit from this hidden data set to improve delivery.
