The House of PMO heads to the British Computer Society (BCS) PROMS-G event to talk resource management.
This is a hybrid event – so you can book to join it online virtually, or come along to the evening session in London.
Resource management remains a significant challenge for project managers and extends far beyond allocating resources to tasks within their projects. The bigger picture includes capacity management, resource estimating, planning and forecasting, resource costing, and understanding team capabilities and development needs.
This session introduces the Circle of Resource Management model, highlighting the interdependency between its three segments: Portfolio, Project, and Resource, as well as the importance of aligning resource management practices with the organisation’s maturity, business objectives, and cultural context.
The session will focus on how close collaboration between project managers and the PMO can lead to improved decision-making, optimise resource utilisation, and achieve successful project outcomes.
The session takes place at the BCS offices in London, to register, please visit the Eventbrite booking:
You can book for either the virtual place or come and join us in-person.
