Everyone is talking about what AI could do for project and portfolio management, for example, predict problems, interpret performance, automate work and help leaders make better decisions.

But there’s a problem!

For many PMOs, project information is still spread across spreadsheets, documents, plans, reports and disconnected systems. Before AI can transform the PMO, there’s a more fundamental question to answer: is the information underneath it ready? It’s certainly what we’re hearing time and time again in the PMO community.

On 6th November, House of PMO will be joined by Gero Renker, Director and Co-founder of Power Framework, for a different kind of session.

Rather than a traditional presentation, Gero will use a series of ideas around ‘AI Starts with Data’, as conversation starters. House of PMO will challenge, question and explore them from the perspective of the PMO community – and you can jump in too! We’ve enlisted Gero because for many of us, we’re using the Microsoft platform in our organisations, so you can expect that Microsoft will figure quite highly!

We’ll look at where PMOs are today, what digital maturity actually means in practice, why structured data matters, where automation fits before AI, and what PMOs can realistically start doing now.
