SUMMARY:Project Forum - The UK Project Management Industry Free Event
DESCRIPTION:For many years\, Project Challenge was a staple in the UK project management calendar\, offering a free day of learning\, seminars\, exhibitions and networking. It played an important role in helping practitioners discover new tools\, services and approaches and it was also where the House of PMO\, then PMO Flashmob\, regularly exhibited and grew connections within the wider PMO community. \nSince Project Challenge closed in recent years\, there has been a noticeable gap in the calendar for a free\, accessible event serving the whole UK project management profession. \nFollowing conversations with several House of PMO Conference sponsors\, the demand for a new industry-wide event became clear. With their support\, we’re delighted to announce the launch of a brand-new addition to the project management calendar. \nProject Forum will take place on 21st April 2026 in London\, offering a full programme of seminars\, birds-of-a-feather sessions\, an exhibition space\, and opportunities to connect with peers from across the profession. The event is free to attend and open to the entire UK project management community. \nThe House of PMO will be there in the exhibition area – you can find out more about the seminar and roundtable discussions we’re also running. [Check out our news] \nTo find out more and secure your free place\, visit: Project Forum

SUMMARY:London / PMO Flashmob
DESCRIPTION:PMO Flashmob is heading back to London for an informal meetup on 18th February at the brilliant Cittie of Yorke\, Holborn. If you fancy a relaxed evening with other PMO people\, this is a great chance to catch up\, share a few stories\, and talk about what’s happening in the world of PMO right now (the good\, the bad\, and the “why is this still a thing?”). \nThere’s no agenda\, no presentations\, and definitely no awkward icebreakers – just a friendly get-together with like-minded people who understand PMO life. Come along for a drink\, meet some new faces\, and enjoy a proper PMO chat in one of London’s most iconic pubs. \nJust RSVP and let us know you’re up for it! \n*Did you know that this pub stands on a site that’s had a drinking spot since about 1430\, making it one of the oldest pub locations in London?

SUMMARY:Beyond the Single Source of the Truth: How PMOs Validate\, Challenge and Make Data Useful
DESCRIPTION:For years\, PMOs have chased “The Single Source of the Truth” – a mythical state where every report aligns\, every dashboard reconciles\, and every stakeholder agrees. But what if this pursuit of certainty is actually holding us back? \nIn this thought-provoking session\, Michael Campbell explores what “truth” really means in a modern PMO. He challenges the idea that the goal is perfect data hygiene or one definitive version of the facts. Instead\, he argues that the PMO’s real value lies in sense-making – validating\, triangulating and continuously interpreting data to enable better business decisions. \nDrawing on lessons from PMO Flashmob’s Inside PMO report\, Michael will show how the future-ready PMO isn’t just data-literate – it’s curious. It constantly tests assumptions\, questions patterns\, and balances evidence with experience. The session will unpack how to build a PMO culture that goes beyond reporting to create genuine insight – helping organisations move from chasing truth to creating clarity and confidence. \nExpect lively discussion\, practical techniques\, and a few myths lovingly dismantled
