DESCRIPTION:In-Person Event / London\nJoin us on International PMO Day for a special in-person gathering in the heart of London\, as we celebrate the vital role PMOs play in shaping successful change across organisations. \nThis session takes a practical and celebratory look at the many ways PMO supports change\, P3M delivery and decision-making across an organisation. \nPMO means different things to different people. For some\, it’s a formal office or team. For others\, it’s a role\, a set of services\, or simply the work that helps projects\, programmes and portfolios run more effectively. That’s often where the confusion starts but also where the opportunity sits. \nTogether\, we’ll explore what PMO actually does in practice\, the different shapes it can take\, and the value it brings at every level – from coordination and control through to insight\, enablement and strategic support. Drawing on House of PMO’s work across the wider PMO community\, and inviting attendees to share their own experiences\, questions and observations\, we’ll build a shared understanding of what good PMO looks like in a complex organisation and the contribution it makes. \nIt’s a chance to celebrate PMO in all its forms\, recognise the people behind it\, and open up a useful conversation about what PMO really means in practice. \nHelp Us Celebrate\nAnd because it’s a celebration\, we’ll continue the conversation afterwards with drinks nearby – a relaxed way to connect\, swap stories and mark the occasion together. \nCome along\, be part of it\, and celebrate PMO in all its forms. \nSet in historic Southwark – one of London’s oldest and most dynamic areas\, long associated with movement\, trade and new ideas – it’s a fitting backdrop for a conversation about the role PMO plays in enabling change across organisations. \n
