DESCRIPTION:This month\, PMO Flashmob heads to the iconic Crown and Anchor pub near Euston – and we’re taking inspiration from the name. \nOur theme\, “The Crown & Anchor Principle”\, explores the duality of PMOs in organisations: \n\nThe Crown represents the things PMOs are celebrated for – strategic alignment\, delivery assurance\, consistency\, clarity\, control. The big wins. The gold stars (or should that be jewels??)\nThe Anchor represents the elements that often weigh PMOs down – resistance to change\, bureaucracy perceptions\, “process for the sake of process\,” or simply being misunderstood.\n\nIn true PMO Flashmob fashion\, we’ll be unpacking both sides of the story: \n\nWhat earns PMOs their seat at the table?\nAnd what quietly undermines their influence?\n\n\nFeaturing: The Crown & Anchor (PMO) Dice Game\nTo keep things lively\, we’ll be playing a reimagined version of the classic Crown & Anchor dice game – with a PMO twist. \nDid you know that “Crown and Anchor” is a traditional British naval game dating back to the 18th century.
