Upcoming House of PMO Events

In this session, we listen to a PMO story from Latin America. Manuel Lopez talks about his experiences working in an IT environment for a Global Insurance company based in Mexico. We're looking forward to hearing a different perspective as Manuel talks about what the main challenges are for the PMO when working in Global environments, from cultural to language barriers and how we can be successful. Manuel also talks about the differences between the global and local levels - how good practices implemented at a global level don't always make it to the local level, who remain stubbornly independent and resistant to change, "we have being doing it like this for several years". Sound familar? With this session we'll hear from Manuel's experiences about how he implemented the PMO to achieve results; getting people to take action and utilise the PMO's best practices and how the value of the PMO needs to be promoted to all company levels all the time even with your own team.
