At House of PMO we wanted to explore what it means to an organisation and the PMO if a PMO was not just seen as an Office but more like a business function like HR or finance for example.

More and more organisations are using an integrated PMO model to design and implement a number of PMOs across the business.

The typical questions are – how would the PMO business function would be structured; where would it sit in the business and who it would report to. Would it include other project management functions like delivery and controls? Would there be a PMO Director (or Chief Projects Officer) who sits on the board?
